Everyone seems to have done brow lamination this year. I resisted for a long time — my brows are already fairly full — but after seeing a friend's results I finally booked at Browhaus, Power Plant Mall Makati.
What is Brow Lamination?
Brow lamination is a chemical treatment that straightens and sets brow hairs in an upward direction. The effect is a fuller, more defined brow shape without microblading or permanent makeup. Results last 6-8 weeks.
The Browhaus Experience
Browhaus is a Singapore brand and their Makati location at Power Plant is beautifully designed — think precision instruments in a luxury studio. My appointment was 45 minutes. The technician took before photos and mapped my ideal brow shape.
Immediately After: Days 1-2
My brows looked incredible — thick, defined, and perfectly placed. You must not wet them for 24 hours and avoid oil-based products on the brows for 48 hours. I was extremely careful with this and it was worth it.
Week 2: The Peak
Week two is the sweet spot — the brows have settled and still look fresh and lifted. I was getting compliments every day. Very minimal daily grooming required.
Week 6: Honest Assessment
By week six, regrowth is visible and some hairs have relaxed slightly. The overall shape is still significantly better than before, but you can tell it's fading. I would book a refresh at week 6-7.
Cost and Verdict
Brow lamination at Browhaus costs ₱1,800 with tinting included. For the 6-week duration, that's excellent value. Highly recommend for anyone wanting definition without the permanence of microblading.
